Shawn Hallman - Founder

An avid music fan, Shawn has helped share and promote music with a positive message since his days in college. Shawn graduated St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX in 2013 with a BA in Communication specializing in PR/Advertising with a minor in music, where he played in the university Jazz Band for three years.

Spending years in music journalism for a national reggae/rock outlet, an internship for a national radio company, and an impressive stint with a nationally-recognized music PR firm helped him understand the ins and outs of the industry and lead to a strong appreciation of creative, outside-of-the-box strategies.

His past experience saw Shawn land impressive placements with his strong writing skills and work ethic. Highlights include placements with Billboard, NPR, Huffpost, Okayplayer, Mass Appeal, Downbeat, nationally syndicated radio programs, local TV, countless non-comm radio stations, playlists, and much more. During his time as a press agent he has worked on multiple GRAMMY-nominated album campaigns ranging from tours, one-off shows, album and EP releases, and major festivals.

Shawn understands the needs of musicians, himself touring in support of internationally-known bands, recording, and performing on many well-received projects.
